The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in complex estate planning, asset protection, and trust and estate settlement. This position requires a motivated legal professional with advanced expertise in tax law and a passion for estate planning, offering the opportunity to work on intricate cases involving both domestic and international matters.

Duties:

  • Handle complex estate planning and asset protection matters.
  • Manage trust and estate settlement processes.
  • Prepare and review transfer tax returns.
  • Provide expert counsel in wealth transfer strategies.
  • Collaborate on international estate planning when required.
  • Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies to protect and manage wealth.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in state and federal tax laws that impact estate planning.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
  • Extensive experience in complex estate planning, asset protection planning, and trust and estate settlement.
  • Prior experience in preparing transfer tax returns.
  • International estate planning experience is a plus.
  • Active membership in The Florida Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • LL.M. in Taxation is required.

Certifications:

  • Must be a licensed member of The Florida Bar.

  • Ability to work on complex and high-net-worth client matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
