Duties

  • Prepare and litigate cases in both State and Federal Courts.
  • Represent clients in trials, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and summary jury trials.
  • Conduct case reviews, evaluate documents, and appear for court conferences.
  • Handle all aspects of discovery, including conducting depositions.
  • Manage a full caseload and handle cases from inception through conclusion.
  • Engage in motion practice, including drafting motions, orders to show cause, and petitions.
  • Develop and execute trial strategies and facilitate settlement negotiations.
  • Interview potential clients and maintain ongoing communication with clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of first-chair experience in personal injury law.
  • Strong knowledge of local State and Federal Court practices and rules.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of New York.

  • Expertise in personal injury litigation and trial preparation.
  • Proficient in conducting depositions and managing discovery.
