Senior Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A distinguished law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney to join their Litigation Group in Atlanta, GA. This role, which is non-partnership track, involves handling complex civil litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, including product liability and consumer fraud, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Duties

• Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with the team and clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including conducting depositions and expert discovery.
• Prepare for trial and participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Provide strategic guidance and work closely with clients throughout the litigation process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts.
• Experience with product liability, complex tort, negligence, class actions, and consumer fraud cases.
• Familiarity with Georgia state and federal court procedures and local civil litigation bar.
• Previous clerkship experience (state or federal) is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Georgia Bar.
