Junior/Midlevel Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a Junior/Midlevel Associate Attorney with experience in first-party property defense litigation. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, draft legal documents, conduct depositions, and attend mediations, hearings, and trials. Location:

• Boca Raton, FL

Duties:

• Manage own caseload under the supervision of partners
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Conduct legal research and write memorandums
• Attend court hearings and conferences
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Attend property inspections and consult with expert witnesses
• Participate in mediations and prepare for trials
• Engage in trial preparation and assist in trial proceedings

Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of litigation experience in first-party property defense or other relevant areas of law
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Experience with drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and attending court proceedings

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar License (required)

• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and client-relations abilities
• Ability to manage a high caseload independently while working collaboratively
