Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a healthcare litigation associate to join its legal team in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with a particular focus on healthcare law. Duties:

• Handle litigation cases in healthcare law and other related legal areas.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis to support ongoing cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Participate in client meetings and assist with case preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters and strategies.
• Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.

Requirements:

• Strong background in litigation, preferably with experience in healthcare law.
• Proficient legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with legal administrative tasks, including drafting legal documents.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or eligible to obtain NC Bar licensure.
