Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on drafting discovery and substantive motions in both Federal and State courts. The position requires excellent academic credentials and a proven track record in research, writing, and oral advocacy.

Duties:

• Draft and manage discovery requests and responses.
• Prepare and argue substantive motions in Federal and State courts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation issues.
• Prepare detailed legal briefs and documentation.
• Assist in trial preparation and strategy development.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case management.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Experience in drafting motions and handling discovery in both Federal and State courts.
• Prior experience with large cases or in a law firm environment preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar membership.
