Duties

• Represent clients in pretrial hearings, offering strategic advice after each session.
• Handle court appearances, trials, motions, witness interviews, and comprehensive legal research.
• Analyze the likely outcomes of cases based on a deep understanding of legal precedents.
• Manage a varied caseload, ensuring that each case progresses smoothly and efficiently.
• Assess legal strategies and determine potential benefits for clients in ongoing cases.
• Gather additional evidence and develop arguments to challenge the prosecution's case.
• Prepare clients for depositions and work with witnesses and experts to reinforce the client’s position.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in criminal law, including federal, state, and local cases.
• Strong collaborative skills with a team-oriented approach to case strategy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on delivering outstanding client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
