A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Real Estate Attorney to join their team in Clermont, FL. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of residential and commercial real property experience in Florida, with strong communication skills and the ability to handle significant responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties:

  • Draft commercial contracts
  • Review title and survey documents
  • Compile critical dates for closing
  • Handle landlord/tenant evictions
  • Draft leases
  • Manage land use and business acquisitions
  • Maintain accurate client information and data within multiple software applications (including Clio, ShareFile, and Microsoft Office)
  • Manage time effectively to meet minimum monthly billable requirements
  • Attend business development and networking functions
  • Conduct legal research and reporting
  • Foster strong client relations and manage client expectations
  • Ensure confidentiality and dependability in all aspects of work

 

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida (Florida Bar License)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly ethical and hardworking
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Effective communication in all forms
  • Ability to manage and maintain accurate client information and data
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Clio, ShareFile, and Microsoft Office

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in Florida
