Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including employment matters, facilities and premises issues, torts, contracts, and other related areas.

  • Draft complex pleadings, motions, and legal documents.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.

  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

  • Develop creative legal arguments based on case law and statutes.

  • Manage all aspects of litigation, from initial filings to trial preparation.

  • Advise clients on legal issues, strategies, and risks throughout the litigation process.

  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to ensure effective legal representation.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member in good standing of the California Bar.

  • 7-10 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong focus on insurance defense.

  • Trial experience is preferred.

  • Experience in mediation and arbitration is highly desirable.

  • Proficient in drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and analysis.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think strategically.

  • Willingness to handle a broad range of cases, from minor disputes to major litigation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client service orientation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • California State Bar membership in good standing.
