A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join its well-established practice in Mendota Heights, MN. Duties:

  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials to advocate for clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure cases are managed effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six years of experience practicing family law.
  • Proven experience handling all facets of family law, including client representation, court appearances, and trial work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle client interactions confidently.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently, demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically, offering creative and effective legal solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in family law ADR processes, including mediation and settlement negotiations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
