Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle various immigration cases, including VAWA petitions, waivers, green card applications, H-1B visas, PERM applications, and other immigration matters.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on immigration-related issues.
  • Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, applications, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in immigration court and during other legal proceedings.
  • Stay informed on current immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and manage case files efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
  • Attend and participate in firm meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Immigration Law and related legal issues.
  • Experience handling various immigration cases, including VAWA, waivers, green cards, H-1B visas, PERM applications, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of visa processes and requirements.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active State Bar membership.
  • Experience practicing immigration law.
  • Proven track record of successful case outcomes in immigration matters.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
