Probate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Probate Attorney to join an established team in Goose Creek, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience in probate administration and estate planning, with a strong focus on real estate matters. As a member of the firm, you will be expected to assist clients with a wide range of probate and estate planning services, while fostering business relationships and contributing to the firm’s growth. Duties

• Assist clients with all aspects of probate administration, ensuring legal processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Identify and address probate issues that arise in real estate transactions.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, providing sound legal advice and solutions for clients.
• Draft, review, and assist clients in preparing estate planning documents such as wills and powers of attorney.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering professional and personalized guidance throughout the probate and estate planning process.
• Develop strategies to expand the firm’s business by cultivating new client relationships.
• Educate clients on relevant probate and estate planning matters through training sessions and consultations.

Requirements

• Probate experience preferred, with knowledge of estate administration processes.
• Experience in estate planning and real estate law will be considered a plus.
• An active member of the South Carolina State Bar, in good standing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain legal matters clearly to clients.
• Ability to work well with clients, colleagues, and other professionals in a team-oriented environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage caseloads independently and effectively.
• Commitment to professional development and client-focused service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing).
