Duties:

  • Draft, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications

  • Conduct technical consultations with inventors and technical teams

  • Engage in patent portfolio strategy development and management

  • Collaborate with legal professionals to analyze complex technologies and IP landscapes

  • Provide support in post-grant proceedings and standards-essential patent analysis

  • Stay current on emerging technology trends and their IP Implications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in patent preparation and prosecution

  • Familiarity with sectors such as wireless telecommunications, AI, semiconductors, electrical hardware/software, cloud computing, or wearable technologies

  • Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

  • Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a legal team

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and legal audiences

Education:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in one of the following or closely related fields:

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Computer Engineering

    • Computer Science

    • Physics or Engineering Physics

    • Mechanical Engineering

Certifications:

  • Active registration with the USPTO as a Patent Agent (required)

Skills:

  • Analytical thinking and attention to technical detail

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to interpret complex inventions and communicate clearly with inventors and examiners
