Duties
As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist with the firm's Florida practice, focusing on creditors' rights and collections.

  • Represent the firm in hearings within the state of Florida.

  • Develop effective strategies to resolve cases in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of documents, financials, notices, and demand letters before initiating legal actions.

  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence related to legal actions.

  • Update internal systems with findings, documentation, and case recommendations.

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws governing foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.

  • Handle contested matters, including discovery and trial preparation.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of legal experience, preferably in collections.

  • Florida Bar membership is mandatory.

  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Florida Bar membership is required.
