Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Omaha, NE, is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Commercial Trial & Financial Services Litigation group. The successful candidate will gain experience across a broad spectrum of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts, arbitration forums, and regulatory matters. This position offers substantial opportunities for client interaction, handling depositions, hearings, and trial appearances.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate complex commercial business-related matters, product liability, securities, banking litigation, shareholder disputes, and regulatory matters.
• Manage litigation across multiple jurisdictions and arbitration forums.
• Work on high-profile cases involving federal and state courts, SEC, FINRA, DOJ, and other regulatory bodies.
• Engage directly with clients, providing strategic advice and legal counsel.
• Take on significant responsibilities in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Perform in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategy.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial trial or financial services litigation.
• Strong academic background and a demonstrated commitment to professional excellence.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to take on leadership roles in cases, including trial participation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in NE.
