Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney to join dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks, meeting deadlines and expectations.
• Foster positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
• Adhere to all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in a variety of activities, including extended computer work, virtual meetings, and conferences.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years of experience advising private equity firms in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and general corporate matters.
• Previous experience in a leading AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience preferred.
• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including persuasive communication and the ability to influence others.
• Proficiency in research and problem-solving.
• Conceptual thinking and management skills.
