Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

A law firm seeks Associate Attorneys to provide high-quality and cost-effective legal representation in insurance defense matters in Lafayette. The successful candidates will manage all aspects of casework, ensuring clients receive effective support and advocacy.

Duties

• Conduct case intake and assess client needs
• Develop and manage case budgets
• Perform thorough legal research and provide legal advice
• Draft, review, and file legal documents
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in litigation
• Handle appeals and maintain effective case management
• Communicate regularly with clients about case progress

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in applicable state and federal courts
• Certificate(s) of Good Standing from relevant governing bodies

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
• Certificate(s) of Good Standing
