Senior Financial Services Litigation Counsel or Staff Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, seeks a Senior Financial Services Litigation Counsel or Staff Attorney to handle complex financial services litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting, writing, and research skills, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with supervising attorneys. Experience in financial services and contested foreclosure is advantageous.

Duties:

• Draft and file motions for summary judgment and other legal documents.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda.
• Manage and strategize complex financial services litigation cases.
• Collaborate with supervising attorneys to develop case strategies and communicate progress.
• Represent clients in court and at depositions, if necessary.
• Maintain current knowledge of financial services regulations and legal precedents.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in financial services litigation or related legal practice.
• Admission to the New York Bar is mandatory.
• Based in New York City, NY.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to the New York Bar.
