Duties:

  • Client Interaction & Intake:

    • Establish rapport and trust with clients during initial meetings.

  • Investigation & Case Building:

    • Direct investigations to uncover crucial evidence for trial preparation.
    • Assess insurance coverage and gather critical documentation.
  • Negotiation & Settlement:

    • Prepare cases for trial while evaluating potential settlements.
    • Negotiate aggressively with insurance adjusters and other involved parties.
    • Pursue litigation when necessary and guide clients through the legal process.
  • Litigation & Trial Preparation:

    • Draft pleadings and discovery documents for lawsuits.
    • Develop and execute strategies for mediation, arbitration, or trial.
  • General Responsibilities:

    • Review and sign all relevant correspondence and case materials promptly.
    • Collaborate effectively with a team of legal professionals to ensure case progression.

Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and litigation skills.
  • Strong client advocacy with an ability to empathize and build relationships.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
  • Comfort with handling cases from intake through to settlement or trial.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active state bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex legal issues.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and advocate fiercely on behalf of clients.
