A prominent law firm is currently seeking a skilled and ambitious mid-level associate attorney to join their national Privacy Litigation team. This position is based in Kansas City, MO, and offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex privacy litigation matters for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in litigation, with the ability to manage casework from inception to trial preparation.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of casework, including trial preparation and case development.
• Draft legal documents such as briefs, complaints, motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on privacy-related matters.
• Handle complex litigation involving federal, state, and international privacy laws.
• Collaborate with team members and senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Assist in managing client relationships and maintain strong communication throughout the litigation process.
• Support the firm's efforts in expanding and growing its national privacy practice.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on privacy law preferred.
• Experience managing casework and preparing for trials.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and international privacy regulations is a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly to complex legal matters and think critically.
• Strong work ethic, team-oriented, and proactive in taking initiative.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active and relevant Missouri Bar membership is required.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice law in Missouri or eligible to obtain admission.
