Duties:

• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and provide effective communication with clients.
• Manage cases through the litigation process, ensuring compliance with court and client deadlines.
• Communicate with clients and provide updates on case progress.
• Attend hearings and depositions as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to case strategy development.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation or insurance defense.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage caseload and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Kentucky (required).
