A law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in construction defect, bodily injury defense, and other insurance defense matters. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle insurance defense matters, including construction defect and bodily injury cases.

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in a variety of insurance defense matters.

  • Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and high standards of legal service are maintained.

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

  • Attend and represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.

  • Negotiate settlements and resolve claims effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance defense, including construction defect and bodily injury defense.

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (Texas Bar required).

  • Strong litigation experience, including courtroom appearances and depositions.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload remotely.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Texas Bar license (required).
