Real Estate/Estate Planning Attorney

A law firm in New Windsor is currently seeking a Real Estate/Estate Planning Attorney with 0-1 year of recent experience. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other attorneys and paralegals to manage a caseload involving real estate and estate planning matters. The role entails handling cases from client intake through to closing or execution of estate planning documents, with some involvement in probate and administration work.

Duties:

• Manage a real estate and estate planning caseload, collaborating with attorneys and paralegals.
• Handle matters from client intake through to closing or execution of estate planning documents.
• Engage in probate and administration work as needed.
• Communicate effectively with Drake Loeb staff, attorneys, clients, court clerks, vendors, and outside attorneys.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited Law School.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Should have 0-1 year of recent experience.
• Specific experience in real estate transactions through to closing.
• Experience in all phases of estate planning; probate and administration experience is a plus.
• Superior oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
