A prominent law firm is currently seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in Alexandria, LA. Duties:

  • Manage personal injury cases from initial intake to trial conclusion.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, medical professionals, adjusters, opposing counsel, and the Court to ensure case progression.
  • Investigate claims, gather necessary evidence, and assess damages.
  • Document injuries, and expenses, and review medical records as part of case development.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements effectively while advocating for clients’ best interests.
  • Oversee case strategy and provide proactive legal counsel to clients.
  • Lead and mentor junior personnel, including training, coaching, and management of team members.
  • Maintain professionalism and ethical standards at all times in client and team interactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and treatment processes.
  • Proficient in case management software and technology tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Ability to advocate passionately for clients while maintaining ethical standards.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Louisiana Bar, in good standing.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
