Duties

• Advise clients on legal rights and case strategies
• Draft and review legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Represent clients in pretrial hearings, depositions, and court proceedings
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to determine probable case outcomes
• Interview witnesses and experts to build a strong defense strategy
• Prepare clients for court appearances and depositions
• Gather and analyze evidence to support defense arguments
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and trial preparation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal defense
• Experience handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the state of Nevada
