Duties:

  • Oversee and manage multiple associate attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.

  • Supervise and train new attorneys and staff members to ensure top-quality legal support.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding office operations and team progress.

  • Prepare educational materials and presentations for ongoing attorney training.

  • Assist senior leadership with complex immigration cases that require advanced legal analysis and strategy.

  • Ensure deadlines are met and project management tasks are efficiently handled.

  • Meet with potential new clients to discuss legal options.

  • Collaborate with associate attorneys and paralegals to coordinate case strategies.

  • Prepare and revise court documents and legal filings.

  • Conduct legal research, drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda as required.

  • Stay up to date with legislative changes and evolving case law in immigration.

  • Contribute to marketing efforts to promote the firm’s services.

  • Work one Saturday a month with potential bonuses for new clients signed during those days.

  • Cross-sell the firm’s other practice areas to clients.

  • Represent clients in court hearings and trials as needed.

  • Apply expertise in areas like Family Petitions, Asylum, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, and more.

  • Additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any U.S. State or Puerto Rico.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Fluent in Spanish (required).

  • Minimum 3 years of immigration law experience or transferable skills from related legal fields.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any U.S. State or Puerto Rico.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a high caseload.

  • Knowledge of U.S. immigration law and procedures, including family-based petitions, asylum, and more.
