Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking to hire a Mid-Senior Level Employment Litigation Associate with at least 4 years of experience to join a dynamic Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with both employment and general litigation experience to further grow their practice under the mentorship of experienced partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.

Location:
San Diego, CA

Duties:

  • Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings.
  • Draft and argue motions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice on employment litigation matters.
  • Assist senior attorneys and partners in case preparation and strategy.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective client representation.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in employment and general litigation.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in California.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Expertise in employment litigation.
  • Experience drafting motions and pleadings.
  • Deposition experience, including taking and defending depositions.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently.
  • Strong academic background and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
