Location:

Duties:

  • Family Law: Represent clients in various family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, premarital agreements, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
  • Estate Planning: Assist clients in creating comprehensive estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Client Consultation: Provide personalized and compassionate legal counsel to clients, ensuring they are well-informed about their options and decisions.
  • Legal Research and Documentation: Conduct legal research and draft/review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws.
  • Court Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, striving for favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar.
  • Experience: Clerkship and/or at least one year of experience working in a family law firm in New Jersey.
