Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney for their San Francisco, CA office.

Job Overview:

• Represent clients in intellectual property litigation, focusing on patent and/or trade secret matters.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on ongoing intellectual property matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.

Duties:

• Handle a broad spectrum of intellectual property cases, including patent and trade secret litigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and legal counsel.
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and execution.

Requirements:

• Admission to a State Bar is required.
• 3-5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.
• Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework.
• Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sound legal and business knowledge.

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
