Associate Attorney needed for Truckee office

Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal services related to business formation, real estate and land use matters, buy/sell transactions, and lease drafting and negotiations.
• Work with clients on general business and transactional law matters.
• Handle legal research and draft legal documents for various transactions.
• Assist clients in business planning, acquisitions, and other business-related legal matters.
• Participate in litigation work (experience is a plus).
• Collaborate with the team on various legal cases and client matters.
• Actively participate in client development and community involvement.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• At least two years of legal experience, preferably in transactional, real estate, and general business law.
• California Bar License required; Nevada admission is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a desire to engage in client development and community outreach.
• Strong connections to the Truckee/Lake Tahoe/Reno region are preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California Bar License required.
• Nevada Bar License (preferred, but not required).

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience with business transactions, real estate law, and land use matters.
• Ability to draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other business-related documents.
