Job Overview: A prominent law firm in Orlando, FL is seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join their established legal team. The firm specializes in personal injury and property damage cases and offers a supportive environment dedicated to fostering exceptional legal talent. The position focuses solely on litigation, providing attorneys with the resources needed to excel in the courtroom without the burden of pre-litigation responsibilities.

Duties:

• Handle a dedicated caseload of approximately 35-40 litigation files
• Work collaboratively with paralegals and legal assistants to manage ongoing cases
• Prepare cases for trial, including jury trial representation
• Conduct motion practice, depositions, and general discovery
• Collaborate with experts and witnesses for comprehensive case development
• Engage in client communication and ensure high standards of client representation
• Participate in professional development workshops and trial skill seminars
• Follow the structured firm processes to enhance case management efficiency

Requirements:

• An active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury litigation
• Proven trial experience, including first-chair trial experience
• Strong general litigation background
• Experience in motion practice and depositions
• Knowledge of SmartAdvocate® (preferred)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar membership

Certifications:

• Florida Bar membership in good standing
