A law firm in Montgomery is seeking a Patent Attorney with 3+ years of patent prosecution experience to counsel clients on all aspects of intellectual property, with a focus on patent prosecution. The ideal candidate must be an active member in good standing of the Patent Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Counsel clients on intellectual property matters, particularly patent prosecution.
  • Draft and prosecute patent applications before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Conduct patentability searches and provide opinions on patent validity and infringement.
  • Advise clients on patent portfolio management and strategy.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews for intellectual property transactions.
  • Assist with intellectual property litigation matters as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of patent prosecution experience.
  • An active member in good standing of the Patent Bar.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Patent Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Patent prosecution experience.
