Mid-Level Financial Services Investment Funds Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Services Investment Funds Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, particularly with transactions involving public companies and related securities laws.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial services investment funds.
• Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and regulatory filings.
• Participate in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various matters related to financial services.
• Assist senior attorneys in negotiating and structuring complex transactions.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in a law firm setting, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and transactional work.
• Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• NY Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Demonstrated experience in deal management and client interaction.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
