Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Reno, NV, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to handle bodily injury defense, employment matters, and other insurance-related cases. This role requires expertise in civil litigation and trial preparation, along with a strong ability to manage cases independently.

Duties:

• Manage civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert witness depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Provide legal analysis and case strategy recommendations.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with clients on case developments.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Nevada.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong litigation skills, including trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Nevada State Bar.
