Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and assess new case files to create strategic action plans and establish budgets.
• Draft and oversee discovery responses and manage document production processes.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals, ensuring efficient handling of case details and deadlines.
• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing detailed reports.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and collaborate with clients to determine trial strategies when necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with legal assistants and paralegals throughout case progression.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, for client and colleague interactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with database management systems a plus.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid license to practice law in Georgia (Bar certification required).
