Job Overview

A Woodland Hills, CA law firm seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will manage litigation processes, prepare for trials, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders to resolve legal matters. Job Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file necessary motions during litigation.
• Prepare for trials and arbitrations as required by the firm.
• Communicate with consumers, employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts and suits.
• Prepare, appear timely, and handle court appearances properly.
• Review all new and ongoing legal pleadings and documents to ensure accuracy when filing with respective courts.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
• Additional licensing in other states (MO, IA, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.
• Comfortable appearing in court and consistently appearing on time using own method of transportation.

Education and Certifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in the State of California.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
