Duties:

  • Represent clients at workers' compensation depositions and WCAB hearings
  • Review AME/QME reports to devise strategic next steps for each case
  • Negotiate settlements both in and out of court
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, maintaining accurate records and tracking deadlines
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, address inquiries, and offer legal guidance throughout the case
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure the timely progress of all matters

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both in and out of court
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Compassion for injured workers and dedication to client advocacy
  • A dependable and resourceful team player capable of managing multiple tasks

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the State Bar of California and eligibility to practice law in California

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong negotiation skills in settlements and depositions
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with A1 software (preferred but not required)
