Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking mid-level litigation associates to join its Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials, have finished in the top 10% of their law class at a top 15 law school, and possess clerkship experience at either the district court or court of appeals level. Candidates must be admitted to the D.C. Bar or be in the process of obtaining admission. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle complex litigation matters in federal and appellate courts.
  • Conduct legal research, draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in a wide range of litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
  • Manage discovery, depositions, and prepare for trial.
  • Engage in client communication and case management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Graduated in the top 10% of the law class from a top 15 law school.
  • Clerkship experience at the district court or court of appeals level.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Admission to the D.C. Bar or eligibility to be admitted.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the Washington, D.C. Bar (or in the process of being admitted).
