Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its remote team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law in Oregon, with the ability to handle a full caseload independently. Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations within the scope of family law.

  • Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings and trials.
  • Handle court appearances with confidence.
  • Work closely with a dedicated paralegal to maintain organized and accurate case files.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Oregon.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and empathy in client representation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Oregon.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
  • Strong legal writing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
