Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney on behalf of a prominent law firm in Wellesley, MA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, allowing a balance between remote and in-office hours. The role focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and adult guardianship and conservatorship court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

Duties:

  • Draft trust and estate planning documents.
  • Meet with clients to facilitate the execution of estate plans.
  • Prepare and file probate pleadings with the probate court.
  • Maintain extensive communication with clients regarding case progress and requirements.
  • Prepare estate tax returns and trust accountings.
  • Handle probate and trust administration matters independently.
  • Participate in guardianship and conservatorship court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a fast-paced workload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Bar License (required).

  • Ability to independently manage probate and trust administration tasks.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
