Job Overview

A law firm seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Attorney to ensure adherence to internal policies, legal procedures, and regulatory requirements. Duties

  • Conduct regular audits and case reviews for assigned litigation teams.

  • Hold weekly meetings with teams to ensure firm policies, procedures, and deadlines are consistently met.

  • Identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective measures as needed.

  • Provide guidance on procedural and ethical requirements to maintain regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow and efficiency.

  • Stay updated on relevant legal standards, court rules, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide legal teams effectively.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed attorney in the U.S. and in good standing.
