A law firm based in Berwyn, PA is seeking a Senior Discovery Attorney to oversee and manage eDiscovery processes in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role involves ensuring compliance with legal standards, optimizing workflows, and maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the discovery lifecycle.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with eMerge attorneys, technologists, and case teams to develop and implement case-specific eDiscovery workflows and protocols.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of work and deliverables produced by eMerge Discovery Attorneys, Project Attorneys, technologists, and service providers.
  • Advise and support case teams and clients on all phases of discovery, including preservation, filtering, and production.
  • Provide guidance on pre-litigation information governance and post-production activities such as deposition and trial preparation.
  • Monitor industry trends, laws, and regulations related to eDiscovery to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, in good standing.
  • 5-7 years of experience in eDiscovery, preferably within a law firm environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Fluency in the preservation, filtering, and export capabilities of corporate messaging and productivity solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Experience with Relativity or similar eDiscovery platforms preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate legal and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
