Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in various personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and fall incidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, and insurance disputes.
• Attend court hearings and support trial preparation as a second chair.
• Ensure all case files progress on schedule and meet established deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of client service.
• Negotiate and settle claims with insurance companies.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in California, in good standing.
• 3-8 years of experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation.
• Strong litigation skills, with a readiness for trial work.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong research, oral, and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented approach to case management.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills
