Duties

• Assist with litigation preparation and support trial proceedings.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of litigation processes, from pre-trial to trial preparation.
• Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• Conduct legal research and provide written summaries and recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to strategize on case approaches.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and other trial activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with a focus on detail.
• Ability to manage complex caseloads in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Oregon (Oregon Bar required).
• Washington Bar membership is preferred, but not required.
