Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, finance, and securities matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and transactional papers.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client transactions and strategies.
  • Oversee and manage the due diligence process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and offer strategic legal advice tailored to their needs.
  • Represent clients in negotiations with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and changes in corporate, securities, and finance law.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance and support to legal staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Applicable Bar admission required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, finance, and/or securities.
  • Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Proven track record in handling complex legal transactions and providing high-quality legal advice.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
