Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support family law cases.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Represent clients in family law matters, negotiate settlements, and advocate on their behalf in court.
  • Manage client intake and maintain clear communication throughout legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to improve office processes and client services.

  • Prepare for and attend the trial, managing all relevant case details.
  • Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, paternity, child support, modifications, and more.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in family law.
  • Admission to practice law in Indiana.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills, with experience resolving disputes both in and out of the courtroom.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfort with drafting legal documents and preparing for trials.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana.
