Duties:

  • Manage a caseload related to asbestos litigation, including all aspects of case preparation and progression.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests, take and defend depositions, and handle motion practice.
  • Serve as second chair at trial, gaining hands-on experience in litigation.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering compassionate support during difficult times.
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize and handle case assignments.
  • Work under deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex cases and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to representing plaintiffs with strong judgment and ethical standards.
