Senior Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Personal Injury Attorney to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters in litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, including pre-litigation case management, discovery, and litigation experience. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of various types of personal injury matters throughout litigation.
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including filing complaints.
• Draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputes.
• Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings.
• Take and defend depositions throughout the course of litigation.
• Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions.
• Attend court appearances and represent clients in legal proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases.
• Direct and support investigations on all assigned litigation matters.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in Personal Injury Law.
• Strong background in Personal Injury Litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discovery.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Current good standing with the California State Bar is required.
• Experience in Workers Compensation is a plus.
• Proficiency in written discovery and conducting depositions.
