A small, dynamic law firm in Center City Philadelphia is seeking an entrepreneurial Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to handle overflow cases. This position offers a unique opportunity for attorneys to develop their practice while working closely with an established team. Candidates must be barred in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The role includes a mix of in-office and remote work, offering flexibility and professional growth potential.

Duties:

  • Manage overflow personal injury cases from intake to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in personal injury matters, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their personal injury cases.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for effective case management.
  • Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania and New Jersey court procedures and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Must be barred and in good standing in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and court interactions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to develop an independent practice.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey (required).

Skills:
