A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse caseload that includes business disputes, personal injury cases, real estate matters, and contract disputes. This position involves providing comprehensive legal counsel, conducting in-depth research, and skillfully negotiating on behalf of our esteemed clients.

Duties:

  • Manage and handle a diverse caseload involving business disputes, personal injury cases, real estate matters, and contract disputes.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel and advice to clients.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain detailed and organized case files.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and court decisions relevant to the firm’s practice areas.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar and in good standing.
  • 0-2 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Arizona State Bar.
